The table below lists average insurance rates for BMW vehicles. Additional models are shown at the end of the article

Rates assume current model year, a 40-year-old male driver with no accidents or violations, $500 comprehensive and collision deductibles, minimum liability limits, and uninsured/under-insured motorist coverage included. Rates are for comparison only and are averaged for all 50 U.S. states.
The above chart uses the average vehicle rating data for all BMW vehicles in the above table as an example of how different situations can have a huge impact on auto insurance prices.
Insurance rates for a BMW are quite variable based on deductibles and policy limits, your driver profile, and the model year and trim level.
Choosing high deductibles can save as much as $870 every year, whereas increasing liability limits will increase premiums. Going from a 50/100 liability limit to a 250/500 limit will increase rates by as much as $335 more per year
More mature drivers with a clean driving record and higher deductibles may pay as little as $1,700 annually on average for full coverage. Rates are highest for teenage drivers, since even excellent drivers can expect to pay at least $6,400 a year.
If you have some driving violations or you were responsible for an accident, you could be paying $2,200 to $2,900 extra each year, depending on your age. Insurance for high-risk drivers ranges as much as 45% to 134% more than average.
The state you live in plays a big part in determining prices for BMW insurance prices. A good driver about age 40 could pay as low as $1,210 a year in states like Iowa, Maine, and Idaho, or as much as $2,630 on average in Montana, Louisiana, and Michigan.
|State||Premium||Compared to U.S. Avg||Percent Difference|
Since rates can be so different, the only way to know who has the cheapest rates is to do a rate comparison and see which company has the best price. Each auto insurer uses a different rate calculation, so the rates may be quite different.
